It was announced on Tuesday that Eddie Royal will be named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 6.
It is the first such award in his career.
The honor comes on the tail of the receiver's performance in the team's Monday Night Football win against the Chargers, when Royal amassed 235 return yards, including a 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and a 71-yard punt return for a touchdown.
