Military journal backs lifting Don't Ask, Don't Tell

The White House's decision about reversing the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy should be a matter of "when" and not "if," according to an article for Joint Force Quarterly, a scholarly journal published for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The report concludes that having gays and lesbians serve openly will not impact the ability of troops to be ready for combat.
