Lambda Legal reports that the next few weeks may mark a critical milestone for LGBT rights as the House Education and Labor Committee is scheduled to consider the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) in the next few weeks, and a vote in the full House could happen soon after.Introduced in June 2009 by Rep. Barney Frank, the bill, also known as H.R. 3017, would prohibit workplace discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. Rep. George Miller chairs the House Education and Labor Committee.
