Peter Paige, most famous as Emmet on 'Queer as Folk', will be directing a film adaptation of Neil Miller's book Sex Crime Panic: A Journey to the Paranoid Heart of the 1950s next year. I read and reviewed Sex Crime Panic for Out Front Colorado a few years ago and it's a pretty remarkable story about two child murders in Sioux City, Iowa that led to public hysteria and the eventual arrests of 20 gay (or presumed gay) men with no connection to the crimes.
Should be good.
