British reporter goes undercover for "ex-gay" therapy expose

Out British reporter goes undercover for "ex-gay" therapy expose, for which its proponents are trying to gain acceptance from doctors and the National Health Service in the UK.

"This is despite the fact that homosexuality was removed from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual - psychiatry's glossary of conditions - 36 years ago," Strudwick writes. "And despite much evidence that such practices are damaging and ineffective."

Interesting stuff and it reminds me of one of my first assignments for Out Front Colorado about ten years ago when I went undercover to some "ex-gay" meetings at a local church. I'll have to see if I can dig those old articles up and post them to compare and contrast.
