Most college freshmen support gay marriage

Nearly two in three college freshmen back marriage equality, compared with 58 percent of the 18-to-29 demographic and 39 percent of all Americans, new research from the Higher Education Research Institute at the University of California at Los Angeles shows.

And nearly one in four college freshmen with "far-right" political views also support marriage equality, compared with 14 percent of conservative Republicans. Go figure.
