Bruce Vilanch at Lannie's

The legendary Bruce Vilanch will do his stand-up twice at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret this Saturday, May 15 at 7 and 9 p.m.

Vilanch is one of the most sought-after gag writers in the entertainment industry. He has written material for Bette Midler, Billy Crystal, Lily Tomlin, Rosie O’Donnell, Roseanne Barr, and many others.

For many years Vilanch has been the go-to-writer for the perennial Hollywood/NYC telecasts of the Academy Awards, the Grammys, the Emmys,and the Tonys.

Bruce is also an actor, starring on Broadway in the drag role of Edna Turnblad in "Hairspray" and most recently in Adam Sandler's movie,"You Don't Mess with the Zohan."
