American man reunited with Brazilian husband in U.S.

John Kerry, D-Mass., successfully intervened with federal authorities on behalf of a gay Brazilian man who was forced to return to his country after being denied asylum in the U.S. three years ago. Genesio Oliveira, who is married in Massachusetts to Tim Coco, an American, has been readmitted to the U.S. under "humanitarian parole," for at least a year.
