A federal jury this week decided that the city of Philadelphia evicted the Boy Scouts from a city-owned facility on unconstitutional grounds. The local scouting council said the city wanted it to repudiate a national Boy Scouts policy that forbids gay members, a policy the Supreme Court has ruled is constitutional.
