Things to do in Denver when you're gay: Ferris Bueller's Day Off tonight at Film on the Rocks

Tonight, stop everything and head up to Red Rocks for John Hughes' classic high school hooky film, 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off.' Seventeen-year-old Zach Heckendorf will kick off the pre-movie concerts, followed by one of Denver's most unique musicians, Ian Cooke.

Each week this summer, a favorite film paired with a band will appear at Red Rocks Amphitheatre hosted by local comedians - a thoroughly entertaining evening for all. Tickets are $10, parking is free. Shows do sell-out so patrons are encouraged to buy tickets early at denverfilm.org.
