White House staffer wins gold medal at Gay Games

Kei Koizumi, 41, won gold at the recent Gay Games held in Cologne, Germany. Koizumi, who works in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, placed first in the 110-meter hurdles.

"We at OSTP expect such nimbleness but do not generally give out medals for it," said spokesman Rick Weiss.
