Wyoming LGBT groups oppose gay couple's lawsuit

A Cheyenne, Wyo., couple who filed a federal lawsuit challenging the state's ban on same-sex marriages "do not understand the dynamics of this and are making a rash decision," said Tim Reid of Wyoming Equality. The couple, who are acting as their own attorneys, did not coordinate their suit with statewide groups before filing it.

Activists say the couple are unlikely to win their case, and that even if they did prevail, the decision would be overshadowed by the Proposition 8 case in California.
