Travel: Only in San Francisco

San Francisco has always opened its golden gates to gay and lesbian visitors.  To reinforce this warm welcome, the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau (SFCVB) has redesigned its gay travel website and developed a new marketing campaign to remind lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual (LGBT) travelers that “The Gate is Always Open for You.”

The SFCVB’s enhanced gay travel website www.onlyinsanfrancisco.com/gaytravel, which features a rainbow ribbon winding its way around the Golden Gate Bridge, allows visitors to easily find what to “See & Do,” where to “Shop,” “Drink,” “Eat” and “Stay” in three featured San Francisco neighborhoods; the Castro, SOMA (South of Market) and the Embarcadero.
