Researchers find U.S. South is home to most gay parents

Jacksonville, Fla., has America's highest concentration of gays and lesbians raising children, and a far more diverse LGBT community than the stereotypes of the gay community would suggest, according to U.S. Census figures. 

Black and Latino same-sex couples are raising kids at double the rate of their white counterparts, according to demographer Gary Gates, who crunched the numbers.
