Screw Everybody Who Doesn't Understand: A Conversation with Lady Starlight

A Conversation with Lady Starlight
by Drew Wilson

Known as the woman who named Lady GaGa, Lady Starlight is a hard rocking DJ and celebrity in her own right. She'll be coming to the Mile High City tonight to perform at Rockstar Aaron's Paparazzi B-Day Bash and I had the opportunity to ask her about her name, her BFF Lady GaGa, and why tonight's party is gonna be the best ever.

Drew Wilson: How did you get the name Lady Starlight and what does it mean to be Lady Starlight?
Lady Starlight: The name comes from the song 'Lady Starlight' by The Sweet. As Lady Starlight I hope to inspire people to express themselves however they want. If what you want to do doesn't exist, make it up and do it anyway.

Why is now the time to bring hard rock to the gay clubs?
Modern music has become little other than a product to be bought and sold. It's overproduced, cold, and very disconnected from it's audience. We are starved for something real. That's why I spin old rock on vinyl, to remember there was a time when artistry and talent were at the top of the charts. We have GaGa now, but she's all alone up there and she needs some compatriots!

Tell me one thing you know about Lady GaGa that nobody else knows.
She loves Ezekiel bread.

Why is Rockstar Aaron's Paparazzi B-Day Bash gonna be the awesomest party Denver's ever seen?
Because me, Rockstar Aaron, and all of you will be there.

What message do you have for readers of MileHighGayGuy.com?
Be whoever you want to be, break all the rules, and screw everybody who doesn't understand.
