Direct from Las Vegas where she was just named SEXIEST
DRAG QUEEN from the readers of Q Vegas, the largest GLBT
publication in Nevada, EDIE makes her Mile High City
debut with her one-woman show at
Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret.
The leggy showgirl sings and dances her way through a
high octane hour of original songs and standards all
with her signature 60s “go-go” style.
Add Edie’s famous high-kickin’ choreography, stories from her new
life in Sin City, and her witty, off-the-cuff audience banter, and you
have the reason the San Francisco Chronicle “strongly advises seeing
the incredible Edie, whose talent and legs go on forever.”
A native of Portland, Oregon, Edie began her professional dance career
at the age of 17 with Ballet Oregon. For the next eleven years she
danced with Pacific Northwest Ballet, Ballet Chicago, and Pennsylvania
Ballet before moving to New York to pursue a career in musical
theater. Edie quickly became a fixture in NYC where she racked up a
bevy of awards including Best Drag Queen (HX Award), Best Dance
Artist, and Entertainer of the Year (Glammy Award).
Edie also starred in her autobiographical, off-Broadway show, “LEGS!,”
performed on the MTV Video Music Awards, appeared on “Sex and the
City,” was featured at Wigstock and Broadway Bares, and made her
Broadway debut alongside of Cyndi Lauper and Alan Cumming in the
Tony-nominated revival of “The Three Penny Opera” at the famed Studio
54.
