Attendees at The Awakening, a conference for social conservatives held last weekend, proffered new terms to refer to gays and lesbians, calling the word "gay" a "left-wing socio-political construct," and claiming that gay identity doesn't exist. Proposed alternatives included "unnatural vice," "sodomy" and "same-sex intercourse."
