Many countries becoming more gay friendly, study finds

Acceptance of homosexuality has increased in many countries around the globe, with only a few countries registering a decline in acceptance, according to a study by the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago. The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland and Belgium top the list of countries that are most accepting of gays and lesbians. In Russia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic and Latvia however, disapproval of homosexuality has increased in recent years.
