Come Home for the Holidays with the Denver Gay Men's Chorus

Join the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus (DGMC) for “Come Home for the Holidays,” a joyous holiday concert filled with songs sure to put anyone in a festive holiday spirit. Performances will take place on Friday, December 16, 2011, and Saturday, December 17, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. at L2 Arts and Culture Center in Denver. In addition, the chorus will perform on Sunday, December 18, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Highlands Ranch.

“This concert is a special one for the DGMC, not only because it’s our annual holiday concert, but because it’s the official start of our 30th anniversary season,” said Ben Riggs, Artistic Director for the DGMC. “The chorus has an extensive back catalogue of songs from the past 30 years. We’re proud to pay tribute to the past by sharing some classics from our holiday repertoire, as well as some new selections that will inspire holiday cheer and goodwill.”

Don’t miss this concert filled with classic holiday favorites and contemporary standards, including I Saw Three Ships, Let It Snow, Oseh Shalom, Keep Your Lamps, and a new Winter Solstice composition Wake, O Earth by Denver composer Loretta Notareschi. In addition to the over 140-member DGMC chorus, the concert will feature the vocal talents of DGMC’s small ensemble group Sing Out, Louise!
