U.S. mayors join push for gay marriage rights

More than 75 U.S. mayors have joined a project to build public support for marriage rights for same-sex couples. The effort, organized by Freedom to Marry, kicked off with a press conference last Friday in Washington, D.C., with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Houston Mayor Annise Parker and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, among others, attending.
