Here's a cool Academy Award tidbit you may not have been aware of (I wasn't).
Christopher Plummer, who played the patriarch of the Von Trapp family in "The Sound of Music,"
won his first Oscar on Sunday night for his portrayal in 'Beginners' of a man who comes out as gay after his wifeof 44 years dies. At 82, Plummer became the oldest person ever to win an Academy Award.
