Blues Control release their Drag City debut, Valley Tangents, on June 19th. After hearing album track, "Iron Pigs," you can now dig a bit deeper into the Blues Control way by watching the video for Valley Tangent's opening song, "Love's A Rondo." Not THAT Rondo, silly. Dude was too busy blowing minds in Miami!
The "Love's A Rondo" video was directed by Tara Sinn who found performer Tarik Davidson (aka Allstar the MTA Mime) one afternoon while riding the subway where he performs each weekend on the 4/5 train. Premiered this morning via Stereogum, the
video was shot in Battery Park and the Financial District of New York
one Saturday afternoon with no rehearsals, and has a free-flowing feel
reflective of Blues Control's all around, free-flowing vibe.
