Amazon's Bezos donates $2.5M to Wash. state marriage campaign

Jeff Bezos (pictured) and his wife, MacKenzie, have donated $2.5 million to support a ballot initiative aimed at keeping Washington state's newly passed marriage equality law. 

Bezos, a billionaire who founded Amazon, made the pledge in an e-mail to a former co-worker who had solicited a contribution of up to $200,000.
