What would Jesus do about LGBT rights?

Former Jacksonville, Fla., Mayor John Delaney, a self-described religious conservative and “rock-solid, loyal Republican,” pens an op-ed in favor of a proposed city ordinance that wouldban discrimination against LGBT citizens, citing biblical passages to support his contention that the protections are warranted. 

“[I]f I were to guess, I'm betting that He'd be against the righteous and with the outcasts on this one,” Delaney writes.
