Vail Soul Music Fest returns to Ford Amphitheater in the majestic mountains of Vail, Colorado on August 17-18-19, 2012. With the festival just one week away, Vail Soul Music Fest makes some exciting final announcements including artist and DJ additions, unique pre and post festival experiences, and engaging on-site partnerships.

Legendary soul artist
Jeffrey Osborne recently joined the VSMF 2012 line-up. Also added, two of Colorado’s neo-soul favorites - the unforgettable SuCh and the always-vibrant Cicely O’Kain will both perform at this year’s event. Vail Soul Music Fest is unveiling new and unique fan engagement opportunities for the 2012 event, with an impressive list of DJs hosting many of the experiences including DJ Newlife and MC Zulu, among others. On Saturday, August 18 – while Vail Soul Fest Youth Day Music and Mentoring Program is engaging over 100 multi-cultural and under-served youth from Metro Denver in a day of outdoor workshops and activities for aspiring music enthusiasts and performers - VSMF attendees can check out the always-popular Backyard Boogie BBQ, this year featuring hugely accomplished DJ and current National Event Producer and Consultant for the BET Television Show Master of the Mix, DJ Lee Farmer, and eclectic Bughetto mixer DJ Ray Sams. Also scheduled, an Allstate leadership panel symposium featuring some of today’s “Cultural Changemakers” including Erin Patton of Nelson Mandela’s inspired fashion line 46664 Fashion, Dr. Eric Lee, President of Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce, and additional special guests.
