Executives,
human resources and diversity professionals, employee resource groups
and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people and allies will
gather in Baltimore, Maryland, from October 29 - November 1 to consider
ways to advance workplace equality.
The Out & Equal Workplace Summit
draws over 2,500 attendees from dozens of countries to share strategies
and best practices to create workplace equality for all, inclusive of
all sexual orientations, gender identities, expressions, and
characteristics. The event is sponsored by 126 corporations, including presenting sponsors IBM and Hewlett-Packard.
“The Summit is an opportunity to learn, teach, network
and have fun with kindred spirits. Together, we will move out from
Baltimore, creating the ripples that will build respectful and inclusive
workplaces around the globe,” said Out & Equal’s Founding Executive
Director Selisse Berry.
