Gen. James Amos, who, as head of the Marine Corps, formerly opposed the
repeal of "don't ask, don't tell," said last week that he is "very
pleased" with the smooth, trouble-free integration of openly gay and lesbian servicemembers.
"I don't think there is a problem," Amos said
during a National Press Club luncheon.
