Neb. town overrides mayor’s veto of LGBT ordinance

The city council of Grand Island, Neb., has voted to override a mayoral veto of the city’s new nondiscrimination ordinance. 

“I believe the council has spoken,” said former longtime Colorado Springs resident Councilman Mitch Nickerson (pictured), who initially opposed the measure, but voted in favor of overriding.
