One Man Lord of the Rings Comes To Lone Tree

After last year’s sold out One Man Star Wars, Denver fans craved more from Canadian comedian Charlie Ross. This year, two weeks after the opening of The Hobbit in movie theaters, Ross will bring One Man Lord of the Rings to Lone Tree Arts Center (LTAC). The show, originally slated to have only one performance, has already added a second night due to demand. December 27 and 28 at 8:00pm, fans of Tolkien’s masterpiece can see the entire trilogy… in 70 minutes!

A self-proclaimed “Professional Geek”, Ross has toured the globe for the last 11 years, delighting audiences with his unique and frenetic solo shows. Performing everywhere from off-Broadway NYC to the Sydney Opera House, from the West End of London to the sands of Dubai, Ross is ready to bring his signature style back to Colorado.
The show is a 70 minute thrill-ride as Ross performs 46 characters (not counting the army of Orcs or the legion of Rohanians) from the epic trilogy. Fans of the books or movies will revel in the actor’s ability to bring voice and body to the wise Gandalf, the tragically deceptive Gollum, the stubborn Gimli, and the steadfastly determined Frodo Baggins.
There are only two chances to catch this amazing performance – December 27 and 28 at 8:00pm. Tickets start at $36 and can be purchased through www.LoneTreeArtsCenter.org or by calling 720-509-1000 Monday-Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
