Supporters Gather in Washington, D.C. and in 50 States to Show Broad and Diverse Support for Marriage Equality
Civil
rights, labor, religious and political leaders, along with a number of
families, are headlining the United for Marriage coalition’s March 26 marriage equality event at the U.S. Supreme Court. The event will
showcase the depth and diversity of grassroots support for marriage
equality – which is backed by a supermajority (58 percent) of Americans,
according to the Washington Post/ABC News poll out yesterday. In
addition, United for Marriage is helping to coordinate more than 150
gatherings in every state across the country.
