All stories will be selected from submissions sent in by the community. To participate, contribute your story, be it happy, sad, humorous or ridiculous, to stories@bmoca.org or drop it off at BMoCA between February 14 – April 28. Selected stories will be read at the event. Word maximum: 800. The chosen selections will be read by Stories on Stage's professional actors on May 16th and held at BMoCA (1750 13th St., Boulder).
This event is in conjunction with BMoCA's exhibit "Museum of Broken Relationships" which is a collective social document of lost love. Overcoming the often stigmatized and isolated experience of breakups, each artifact in the exhibit is validated with dignity and the shared appreciation of a past relationship.
