Last week, Denver Public Art and artists Walczak & Heiss unveiled Denver’s newest public artwork “14th Street Overlay.” This unique public art experience along 14th Street between Larimer and Colfax in downtown Denver was commissioned through Denver’s 1% Public Art Program and is part of the Better Denver Bond improvements. The artwork includes a variety of optical devices at 23 locations, with each sculpture providing a site-specific view of Denver’s past and present.The artwork is part of the Ambassador Street vision that engages visitors and residents along 14th Street.
