Art Seen: Step into Tammi Otis' surreal world at Abend Gallery

Need a break from reality? of fish swimming through the air, lands populated with purple trees and pomegranates, crows in hats, and figures wrapped in vines. “I had a horrible childhood,” Otis responded when asked where these images come from. “I was raised by two people who shouldn’t have had kids, so I’m creating my own world where I would like to be.”
