HBO documentary on Prop 8 to be released in theaters

HBO has planned a limited theatrical run for "The Case Against 8," a documentary from Ryan White and Ben Cotner that sheds light on the lengthy legal battle to overturn the 2008 California same-sex marriage ban known as Proposition 8. 

The film, which was praised at the Sundance Film Festival, is set to premiere on June 6, nearly a year after the Supreme Court overturned the proposition and legalized marriage equality in California.
