Spencer comes directly from Amsterdam, where he worked as Chief Communications Officer for PlanetRomeo BV. Prior to his time in Europe, Spencer managed marketing and communications for American Apparel and for the environmental non-profit Bioneers. Spencer, a California native, previously directed the documentary film, Straight Acting, about gay men who play contact sports. He is the past President of the Amsterdam Lowlanders Rugby Club and Vice President of the Los Angeles Rebellion RC.
