Event celebrates accomplishments of trans community

The Trans 100, an advocacy coalition, held its second annual conference in Chicago this weekend to recognize some of the most prominent names in the transgender community. Among the honorees were Gloria Allen, a mentor to LGBT youth and this year's recipient of the Living Legend Award, and Kortney Ziegler, founder of Trans*H4CK. "I think the important message to take is, whether it's inside the ring, on the field, in the press box, [or] in the locker room, I belong, you belong, we belong," ESPN.com editor and attendee Christina Kahrl said.
