"Conversion therapy" for minors remains legal in most states

While LGBT "conversion therapy" for minors has been condemned by health officials, bans on the practice exist in only two states -- California and New Jersey. Activists are pushing other states to take up similar legislation, with National Center for Lesbian Rights staff attorney Samantha Ames predicting "an explosion of these bills" in early 2015.
