Marriage lawsuit filed on behalf of out lawmaker in S.C.

Lambda Legal on Wednesday filed a lawsuit on behalf of Charleston City Councilwoman Colleen Condon and her partner, Nichols Bleckley. The South Carolina couple successfully applied for a marriage license last week, but shortly thereafter the state Supreme Court complied with a request by the state attorney general to put marriage equality on hold.
