This Friday, Feb. 13 through Sunday, Feb. 15, the League is offering 50 percent off the adoption fee for all adult dogs (1 year and older) and waiving the adoption fee for all adult cats (1 year and older).
For those animal lovers whose homes are full, but hearts are not, they can show how much they care by giving a special valentine to a shelter pet from February 11–14. For a donation of $25 or more, you can purchase a paper heart that will be displayed on a homeless pet’s kennel while they wait for a new home. For a donation of $75 or more, you can give a heart-shaped felt mat that will be placed in a homeless pet’s kennel for them to snuggle. Proceeds from all valentines will help the Dumb Friends League provide the shelter and services these pets need until they find their true companions.
Valentines for homeless pets can be purchased online at ddfl.org/valentines starting on Feb. 11, or at one of the League’s adoption locations—the Quebec Street Shelter in Denver, the Buddy Center in Castle Rock, or the Harmony Equine Center in Franktown.
