Poll finds most Americans opposed to "religious freedom" legislation

A poll released Thursday found the majority of Americans believe businesses should not be allowed to refuse services based on their religious beliefs. The poll, conducted by Reuters/Ipsos in the aftermath of controversies around "religious freedom" legislation in Indiana and Arkansas, found that more than 50% disapprove of policies allowing businesses to deny services or refuse to hire people based on the employer's religious beliefs
