Critique of controversial LGBT parenting study finds major flaws

A 2012 study on LGBT parenting authored by Mark Regnerus (pictured), a sociologist at the University of Texas, used flawed data to reach its conclusion that the children of same-sex parents are worse off in relation to those raised in opposite-sex households, a new critique of the study said.

The authors of the critique said a proper reading of the data suggests "adult children who lived with same-sex parents show comparable outcome profiles to those from other family types."
