To Denver, With Love -- a city-wide art project

Art District on Santa Fe is thrilled to announce To Denver, With Love, a NEW celebration of Denver's growing creative community designed to elevate art, showcase talent, encourage collaboration and innovation, honor our city, and most of all, to inspire. Art is all around us and touches every aspect of our lives—and we’re on a mission to raise awareness of its impact. The community is invited to share photography, painting, murals, screen prints, sculpture, poetry and prose that expresses what art means to our city, through each person's unique vision and experience. Members of all Denver neighborhoods and creative districts are encouraged to participate.

Participation is open to all residents of Denver and regional neighbors, but the subject matter must pertain to Denver. A jury comprised of some of Denver’s top cultural leaders -- including Gwen Chanzit, Denver Art Museum curator of modern art; Mark Sink, co-founder of MCA Denver and founder of Month of Photography Denver; Rick Griffith, Denver Commisioner of Cultural Affairs and owner of Matter; Jolt, muralist and leader of Westword's Artopia; Brian Corrigan, founder of Oh Heck Yeah and Amy Phare, Board President of Art District on Santa Fe-- will select the winning submissions who will be honored in a pop-up exhibition and commemorative coffee table book in 2017.
