13th Annual Denver Restaurant Week Menus Launch Wednesday

The 13th Annual Denver Restaurant Week will take place February 24 – March 5, 2017; and starting at noon on January 25, diners can scour DenverRestaurantWeek.com for hundreds of menus and begin making reservations. New this year, each restaurant was given the option to choose one of three new price points: $25, $35 or $45 per person for multi-course meals. The $25 price point is the lowest-ever for Denver Restaurant Week, below the $26.40 per person when the program offered a $52.80-for-two price point for its first nine years; and the varying price options have encouraged nearly 250 restaurants (at press time) to create great deals for diners and present a well-rounded representation of Denver’s diverse and growing food scene.

“Denver Restaurant Week has always been a celebration of Denver’s culinary scene,” says Richard Scharf, president and CEO of VISIT DENVER, The Convention & Visitors Bureau, which founded and organizes the annual event. “The number and varieties of restaurants have grown immensely over the past 13 years, and we wanted the pricing structure to reflect the entire culinary scene. The low, mid and higher range options allowed the flexibility for even more restaurants to participate, and the prices make it easy for diners to experience more of everything that Denver has to offer.”

Now, restaurants whose regular menu is at a lower price point, and who may not have participated in the past, can create a $25 menu with excellent values; and Denver’s finest chef-owned restaurants and higher-end places will be able to offer the experience and signature dishes they are known for with the $35 or $45 options.
