After debuting his first ever fashion line HOT ME$$ last September, Matt Sarafa is now ready to take over 2017 New York Fashion Week with his new clothing line "FAKE." Debuting on the runway on Saturday, February 11th, Matt is ready to reignite the fashion world with his new high-end, ready to wear couture line. Along with his new clothing line, "FAKE," Matt will also be showing off his new jewelry line as a part of his already successful brand "HOT ME$$." Matt's newest designs from "FAKE" will blur the lines between ready-to-wear fashion and high end couture. The remarkably talented young designer has drawn inspiration from his time on "Project Runway Juniors," as well as his life in California. Holding true to his belief that fashion is for everyone and knows no gender, "FAKE" will continue to show Matt's talent for creating beautiful pieces of clothing that will give his wearers confidence to be who they are. Created for both men and women, "FAKE" features edgy, high-end, urban couture that will once again show how gifted Matt is when it comes to the world of fashion.
Not only is Matt debuting "FAKE" at NYFW, he will also be adding his 10 brand new jewelry pieces to his "HOT ME$$" line. His trendy new jewelry pieces will include rings, knuckle rings, necklaces, and chokers. Matt's new affordable accessories blend together his ideas of edgy jewelry, and simple chic designs.
Growing up in Manhattan Beach, California, Matt always had an artistic side and was passionate about drawing and painting since he was a child. After binge watching an entire season of "Project Runway" with his mother at the age of 7, he knew fashion was his true calling. He then learned how to hand sew from his grandmother and eventually began taking classes to perfect his technique. Growing up in the age of YouTube, Matt started his own channel which features makeup tutorials and fashion tips and advice, which is watched by thousands of budding fashionistas looking for a little help and inspiration. This caught the attention of producers for "Project Runway: Threads," which aired in 2014. A fan favorite on that show, Sarafa was a no-brainer choice for producers when the networks newest show "Project Runway Juniors" aired in October of 2015.
