One Colorado's LGBTQ Lobby Day is just around the corner, and this year we have a record number people coming from the Western Slope. It is so important that our elected officials hear from lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Coloradans, and their families from ALL parts of our state.
We just need a little more help to cover the costs of travel and lodging for everyone coming from the Western Slope. Can you pitch in to make sure everyone can make it to Denver for LGBTQ Lobby Day this year?
Last year, almost 40 folks made the drive to Denver from the Western Slope to join us for Lobby Day. It costs $103.50 to sponsor one volunteer from Grand Junction to Lobby Day– this year, we're setting a goal of having 40 folks represent the Western Slope at the Capitol - will you help us get there?
If you are unable to join us in Denver, just a small donation of $15, $25, or $50 will make sure the voice of the Western Slope is heard at LGBTQ Lobby Day.
