Talk Saves Lives: A Brief Introduction to Suicide Prevention & Firearm Safety

The AFSP Colorado Chapter will be hosting a virtual
Talk Saves Lives: A Brief
Introduction to Suicide Prevention and Firearm Safety
presentation on Wednesday, Feb. 10th at 6 p.m.

Talk Saves Lives is AFSP’s standardized, 45-60 minute education program that provides participants with a clear understanding of this leading cause of death, including the most up-to-date research on suicide prevention, and what they can do in their communities to save lives. Participants will learn common risk factors and warning signs associated with suicide, and how to keep themselves and others safe. This particular Talk Saves Lives addresses issues specific to firearms in relation to suicide prevention. However, it is still very useful and informative for those who are interested in general suicide prevention.
