Matt Palmer releases the new EP 'THE GOOD PARTS' today

Matt Palmer has released his highly anticipated third EP The Good Parts along with the music video for his newest single off the album “Do It All Again.” The EP features sleek and modern pop/R&B production alongside singable melodies, confessional lyrics, and a noticeable evolution in Palmer’s songwriting and visual storytelling. Get the full album HERE.

Palmer is aware that The Good Parts is far more than a break-up album by owning his vulnerability, authenticity, and confidence as he shares his experiences of love, heartbreak, and everything in between.

“When I started working on 'The Good Parts,' I was going through a break up and planned on it being 100% a break up record, but it really evolved into something else as things evolved in my personal life,” says Palmer of the EP. "Musically, I love that there are smoother, bass-heavy songs like "I Don't Want It," more mid-tempo, synth-based tracks like "Do It All Again" and a couple of ballads but it never feels too disjointed. I hope it's a good soundtrack for us as we figure out what life is like post-lockdown.”

“Do It All Again” is the second single off of the new EP and follows the theme of relationships that was heard in his previously released single “I Don’t Want It.” In “Do It All Again” Palmer describes the commitment and appreciation of relationships even during their toughest times.
