Select Aperitivo, creator of the original Venetian spritz, is partnering with Viceroy Snowmass this winter to introduce Select Slopeside, an Italian après experience. The exclusive pop-up will run from January 14th to April 2nd and brings the best of Aspen and Venice to guests through live music, vintage decor and Select Aperitivo cocktails served at the base of Snowmass Mountain.
Select Slopeside’s vintage aesthetic is an ode to the longstanding history of après in Aspen, as well as Select Aperitivo’s Italian roots. Select collaborated with designer Tara Shakti to create branded vintage-inspired ski suits, handcrafted in Kathmandu, Nepal to celebrate the unique beauty of every woman. Servers will don these suits while serving Select Spritzes garnished with an olive, against the backdrop of a vintage ski wall inspired by Slim Aarons’ 1979 photograph of Princess Lucy Ruspoli. Red Adirondack chairs will surround a fire and Viceroy Snowmass will welcome visitors off the slopes with a Spritz This Way sign.

During peak après hours, 2:30pm – 4:30pm, the quintessential Select Spritz will be served for $8 every Friday and Saturday. With over 30 botanicals, Select Aperitivo is the sophisticated choice for creating a well-balanced spritz. Alongside the aperitivo, a Select Spritz features prosecco, soda water, and a classic green olive.
