Lambda Literary: Announcing the Córdova Prize Winner

The countdown to the 34th annual Lambda Literary Awards is on and Lambda Literary is taking the time this week to celebrate their Special Prize winners. Each day, Lambda will be highlighting the winner or winners of each of five special prizes issued in 2022, beginning with the winner of the Jeanne Córdova Prize for Lesbian/Queer Nonfiction, Aisha Sabatini Sloan.

The Jeanne Córdova Prize is issued in memory of the beloved activist and author, and honors lesbian/queer-identified women and trans/gender non-conforming nonfiction authors. The award is intended for a writer who displays a commitment to nonfiction work that captures the depth and complexity of lesbian/queer life, culture, and/or history.
