Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra presents Songs of the Season Past & Present

The Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra’s (CJRO) is in full swing and ready to celebrate the holidays!

On December 4, at 3:00 pm, the CJRO is delighted to return to Lakewood Cultural Center with Songs of the Season Past & Present featuring Marion Powers! The full orchestra along with award-winning vocalist Marion Powers will perform favorites to keep you in the spirit of the season. Numbers include “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm,” “Let it Snow,” “Christmas Time is Here,” and many more delightful holiday tunes. One afternoon only - Sunday, December 4, 3:00 pm at the Lakewood Cultural Center 470 S. Allison Pkwy., Lakewood 80226. Tickets start at $27 and group rates (minimum 10) are available. The CJRO features professional, well-known Colorado musicians and is led by Executive Director, Art Bouton and Artistic Director, Drew Zaremba. Founded in 2012 by Art Bouton, with a mission to perform the best music with the best musicians, the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra does just that and more. Exciting world-renowned guest artists and many of the finest regional musicians perform anything from rollicking big band classics to contemporary large and small ensemble jazz to enthusiastic crowds across Colorado. Audiences at the Arvada Center, PACE Center in Parker, Lakewood Cultural Center, Lone Tree Arts Center, Parsons Theatre in Northglenn, and beyond have heard the CJRO perform music from Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Duke Ellington, Stevie Wonder, and Billie Holiday as well as original arrangements by CJRO composers and other artists.
